Perhaps you have just finished watching our television program on Discovery Velocity and wanted to learn more about GASS and how you could get involved.
GASS was started in 2006 with 8 stockcars, as a regional motorsports program for individuals who wanted a high-end stockcar racing experience, but did not have the time or equipment to maintain and transport their own cars to the track.
From those modest beginnings, GASS has grown to a national presence and includes 36 proprietary stockcars (built at our metal fabrication facility in Portland, OR), 6 transporters, a complete engine shop, video production cameras and enough safety equipment (HANS, Bell helmets, Hinchman fire suits, gloves, etc) to fully support all of our various ride/drive/race activities.
Customer Ride-Along (all GASS cars are manufactured with a passenger seat) Corporate Events (custom associate motivation/reward programs) Driving Experiences (driving a GASS car on the track) Driver Training (one-on-one instruction) Race Events (racing a GASS car)
There is no experience required to go racing with GASS. The only requirements to race are you be over 45 years of age, have an interest in racing and a willingness to learn from our instructors how to properly drive one of our purpose built stockcars on-track, in a competitive environment. Our complete event schedule, including driving/training events will be published in February 2013. Please note all participants driving a GASS car at a Corporate event, a Driving Experience or attending our Driver Training program must be over 18 years of age.
